Borrowed Time

Every kill buys time. Every second counts.

You have only a short time left to live.

Fight through relentless waves of the undead and earn precious seconds with every enemy you defeat. As the horde grows stronger, survival becomes harder—and every decision pushes you closer to zero.

There is no traditional health bar.

Time is your life.

How long can you survive?
Can you outlast the horde and become the longest-living survivor?

Enter the fight and prove it.

Made for GMTK Game Jam 2026

Created for the theme:

COUNT DOWN

The countdown represents both the player’s remaining lifetime and the central resource of the game. Defeating enemies buys back a few precious seconds, forcing the player to fight continuously before the timer reaches zero.

very cool game. i just had problems with ammo, despite going for headshots. but i liked it !

Thank you so much! 😆 Yeah, the ammo can get pretty brutal even when you’re going for headshots — I may have been a little too stingy with it hahaha. I’m really glad you still enjoyed the game!

Cool concept stressed me out in a good way :)

Thank you so much. Your comment made me very happy and motivated 😘
